The GLITE Endowment fund is accepting applications for 2024 awarding of Funds. Please complete the application and send to Tyler Krage by April 1st.

The GLITE Endowment Fund was established in 2017 (in the Legacy Midwestern ITE District) to support District members, student members and faculty members with more funding to help them be more involved in the transportation profession and ITE. As we collect enough funds we plan to award them for these and other needs:

  • Attend the Great Lakes District Annual Meeting or ITE Annual Meeting
  • Participation in LeadershipITE
  • Attend the Great Lakes District Student Leadership Summit; Student Traffic Bowl; Student Chapter initiatives
  • Science Technology Engineering & Math (STEM) activities related to transportation
  • Faculty initiatives at recognized institutions in the Great Lakes District for ITE involvement

Donations by individuals or employers are tax deductible with GLITE being a registered non-profit 501 (c) (3).

GLITE Endowment Needs Your Donations

Donations to the Endowment Fund are encouraged at any time.  Donations can be made via PapPal or check, and are coordinated through the current GLITE District Treasurer.  Receipts are available upon request.

Donations can also be made through your Will, Living Trust, and/or Estate Plan.  These donations can be discussed with you or your estate planner/attorney with representatives of the Great Lakes Endowment Committee.

The Committee looks forward to your participation in GLITE Endowment Fund; we believe will be one of our legacies – supporting many in our profession.

“As the founder of the Endowment Fund and recognizing how much ITE has done for my career development  I’ve pledged $10,000 in cash to GLITE Endowment Fund ($1,000/yr. through 2026) and revised my Living Trust naming GLITE Endowment for an additional $10,000 as part of my estate.”
