  • Vernon J Ehlers Station in Grand Rapids – The station is served by Amtrak and the Pere Marquette line that connects Chicago’s Union Station to Grand Rapids.
  • Lake Michigan Car Ferry – Catch the Lake Michigan Car Ferry with service between Manitowac, WI and Ludington, MI. Check the link for a schedule.
  • Overnight guests of the Amway Grand Plaza can park in the adjacent parking ramp at the discounted parking rates of $10 per night for self-parking and $15 per night for valet parking. Current overnight parking has unlimited in and out privileges’, however parking in the hotel ramp is not guaranteed.

Bring along the family for an early summer vacation and enjoy the John Ball Zoo, Grand Rapids Children’s Museum, Grand Rapids Art Museum, Grand Rapids Public Museum, and the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum which are all an easy stroll or transit trip away from the hotel. Or enjoy a 21 and older trip out to try one or more of the 80 plus breweries in the Grand Rapids area!
